This Wasn’t Always My Path
I spent more than 15 years working in leadership development in the environmental sector. In 2012, I was diagnosed with cancer. Forced to slow down, I realized that I’d been so focused on taking care of others, I had lost my ability to express my own needs and desires. I didn’t even know I had needs and desires.
Desire became my guide on my healing journey.
As a former Mormon, I had a big learning curve. What did I want? What lit me up? What brought me joy? As I explored this, I started to see the necessity — and the healing power — of pleasure.
Researching pleasure changed my life. I began to dream bigger, and to live out my desires and my vision. I learned to love being alive, with all its ups and downs.
That’s why I feel so passionate about helping others find pleasure — in their bodies, and in their lives.
My Work is at the Intersection of Mindfulness, Consent, Embodiment, and Sexuality
